SCOUTS

Earns Eagle Award

Bryce Paull, son of Gary and Kathy Paull of Boardman, recently received his Eagle Scout Award at a court-of-honor ceremony at Boardman United Methodist Church.

He is a member of Troop 46 and his scoutmaster is Eric Grabman. He earned 26 merit badges and the Ad Altare Dei religious award for Catholic Scouting.

His Eagle Scout service project consisted of converting and restoring an outdoor area into a learning environment at Hilltop Elementary School in Canfield. Playground equipment was restored and planters were cleaned out and made ready for planting. Benches were constructed for the pupils’ use. Birdhouses were hung about the area to provide the pupils with the opportunity to observe and identify various types of birds.

Paull is a graduate of Boardman High School and is attending Kent State University.
