• BELMONT SHORE, Calif. — United in marriage on Aug. 31 during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony on the beach at Belmont Shore were Rebecca Magdalene Cashier and Chad Landon Boger, both of Lakewood, Calif.
After a reception at the Del Mar Room, the couple left for a honeymoon at a private island resort in the Fiji Islands.
Upon return, they live at their new home in Lakewood.
The bride is a daughter of Debbie Curley of Poland and Robert and Mary Ann Cashier of Youngstown.
The groom’s parents are Denny and Pam Boger of Athens.
Pearls and silver beads were sprinkled on the corset back and the neckline cuff of the bride’s strapless gown. Pickups added interest to the ruched skirt, which flowed into a chapel train.
Monica Metzbower of Columbus, the honor attendant, wore a lipstick-pink gown, as did the bridesmaids, Courtney Demko of Cuyahoga Falls and Michelle Antonini of Hilliard.
Serving as groomsmen were Justin Walker and Eric Anderson, both of Perryville, Mo., and Benjamin Antonini of Hilliard.
Mrs. Boger graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a degree in mechanical engineering and is employed by the Boeing Co. in Long Beach, Calif. Mr. Boger is also a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
