STOW — At Stow-Munroe Falls High School, Stephanie Sfara had 12 kills and eight digs and Kayleigh Lipke nine kills, four blocks and nine points to lead Boardman in a sectional final. Amanda Larson added 10 kills, two blocks and three saves and Amanda Volosin 10 service points, two aces and eight digs to also spark Boardman (10-11), which advanced to the district semifinal Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. against either Cuyahoga Falls and Akron Ellet.

Fitch 25-21-25-25, Akron Firestone 8-25-13-13

STOW — Krissy Roberts had three blocks, 13 kills and five digs and Jena Baun 19 assists, two kills, two blocks and three digs and 10 service points to lead Fitch. Ashley Guittar contributed 15 assists, five digs, one block, four kills and six aces and Michelle Basista 10 digs to also pace the Falcons (9-14), who advanced to the district against Stow Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. The district final is Oct. 25 at 2 p.m.

Solon 25-26-25-25, Howland 27-24-18-20

SOLON — The Tigers were eliminated in the sectional final at Solon High School. Kelly Barzak had 15 kills, five blocks and seven digs for Howland, while Nia Grant added 13 kills and seven blocks. DJ Hromyak had 13 kills and nine digs, Sasha Mason 32 assists and Stephanie Wisniewski 14 points and four aces.
