• NORTH OLMSTED — David Andrew Vodhanel and his bride, the former Julie Kaye Roden, honeymooned on the Hawaiian islands of Maui and Oahu after their Aug. 2 wedding at St. Brendan Catholic Church.

The Rev. Tom Woost officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of William and Sally Roden of North Canton and the son of David and Janette Vodhanel of Canfield.

A reception followed at the 100th Bomb Group Restaurant in Cleveland.

Beadwork enhanced the bride’s strapless white satin A-line gown. It featured a sweetheart neckline and a cathedral train.

Navy-blue gowns were worn by Stacey Miner of Rocky River, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Jennifer Krivonak of Fairlawn, the groom’s sister, and Megan Vodhanel of Allentown, Pa., his twin sister.

Ryan Skiver of Toledo was best man, and groomsmen were the bride’s brothers, William Roden of West Palm Beach, Fla., and David Roden of Columbus.

Mrs. Vodhanel graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. She is a design engineer with Laird Technologies in Cleveland.

Mr. Vodhanel, an applications engineer with Laird Technologies, graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

The Vodhanels live in North Olmsted.
