GARDEN CLUBS


MONDAY

• Gardengate will create fabric postcards at a meeting hosted by Theresa Cicuto and Joann Vlacancich.

• Poland will meet at noon for a program on fall decorating, squashes and pumpkins and a surprise.

TUESDAY

• A Niles McKinley Memorial Tour is planned by Daisy Dozen and will begin at 40 S. Main St., Niles. In charge will be Jinx Storey and Terry Anness.

• East has planned a 79th anniversary luncheon for 11:30 a.m. at the Kidston Room at Fellows Riverside Gardens. Mary Calai will be the hostess.

• Gleaners will meet at 9:30 a.m. at Canfield Plaza for a day trip to Stone Gate and lunch at an area restaurant.

• Trailwood will have a brown bag luncheon at 11:30 a.m. The program will feature Debra Wagner and the theme will be “Civil War Days” focusing on quilting of that period. Sally Foster will be the hostess, assisted by Elsie Clarke and Mary Jackson.

WEDNESDAY

• Ivy League will carve medium-sized pumpkins at its meeting. Jean Varner and Yoland Mallery will be hostesses.

• St. Michael Garden Guild will meet at 7 p.m. at the parish hall with Carol Cartwright presiding. A program on “Zulu Grass Jewelry” will be presented by Patrice Harvey of Wild Birds Unlimited. Hostesses will be Marjorie Yerman and Ruth Molvin. Guests are welcome.

THURSDAY

• Appleridge will have a Linus project when it meets.

FRIDAY

• The program for Suburban at 12:30 p.m. will be a holiday arrangement. Mrs. Dominic Petrella is hostess.
