Jesus’ Church to celebrate 8th anniversary

FARRELL, Pa. — Jesus’ Church — Faith Christian Center Ministries will conduct a series of evening programs next week to celebrate its eighth anniversary.
The church was founded Jan. 1, 2000, by the Rev. Ralph T. Newell who is pastor of the congregation.
The services will feature guest ministers and their congregations.
The celebration concludes with a service at 4 p.m. Oct. 26 with the Rev. Forrest E. Underwood, a former Farrell resident who is now an associate minister of Eden Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Ind., where he also serves as the pastor’s administrative assistant and administrator to the board of directors of Eden Neighborhood Development Corp.
The speakers at the other special services, all beginning at 4 p.m. in the church at 901 Fruit Ave., are: The Rev. Leon Avery Jr. of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Sharon, on Wednesday ; The Rev. Carol Missick of Living Word Church, Hermitage, on Thursday ; and The Rev. Angel De La Cruz of Word Centered Fellowship, Masury, on Friday.
Jesus’ Church will also have its regular Oct. 26 services with church school at 9 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m.
