Vacant house fires in Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN — A vacant house on the South Side was intentionally burned early today and someone set fire to a vacant house on the East Side late last night. At 1:40 a.m., crews found fire showing at 436 W. Laclede Ave. when they arrived in response to a call from a neighbor. Damage was set at $8,000 and board up recommended. At 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, electric wires were arcing when firefighters arrived at 20 S. Bruce St. At least six fires had been set on the first floor, the fire department said. Damage was set at $2,000.
