Clinton will have ‘Change We Need’ rallies in Youngstown and Delaware on Friday.

YOUNGSTOWN — The last time Sen. Hillary Clinton was in Youngstown, she urged some 2,000 supporters at a Chaney High School rally to help make her the Democratic nominee for president.
She’ll be back in the city Friday, this time urging support for the man who eventually won that nomination: Sen. Barack Obama.
The Obama-Joe Biden campaign has been concentrating on Ohio as one of a handful of key states that could decide the Nov. 4 presidential election.
Biden was in the Mahoning Valley on Tuesday, addressing a rally in Warren, and Clinton, who did win the Ohio Democratic primary, is slated to address a “Change We Need” rally at Beeghly Center on the campus of Youngstown State University.
She will have a similar rally later in the day in the Delaware, Ohio, area.
She was campaigning for the ticket in Pennsylvania last weekend.
Clinton is expected to highlight the Obama-Biden plan to bring economic relief to the middle class, add new jobs, help homeowners facing challenging times and respond to the current financial crisis gripping the country and the world.
Although national polls show Obama-Biden leading the Republican team of John McCain and Sarah Palin by as much as 13 percent or 14 percent, polls in Ohio show the race in this state to be a dead heat.
Doors at the Beeghly rally will open at 10:30 a.m., but the campaign hasn’t revealed the official time for the rally to start.
The event is free and open to the public, and tickets aren’t required. The Obama campaign suggests, however, that people planning to attend should RSVP on the Web by contacting www.barackobama.com. For security reasons, those attending the rally are advised not to bring any bags and to limit their personal items. Signs and banners won’t be permitted.
