• MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich.— Living in Traverse City, Mich., after returning from their honeymoon at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac are Ryan Maas and his bride, the former Amy Holloway, both of Cincinnati.

The daughter of John and Linda Holloway, 1016 W. Pine Lake Road, North Lima, married the son of Ernest and Michelle Maas of Sault St. Marie, Mich., in an outdoor ceremony at 4 p.m. July 11. The setting was a gazebo at Harbour View Inn on the Island, and the Rev. Ed Remaly officiated.

A reception at the inn followed.

The bride and groom both work as school psychologists for Traverse City School System after earning their degrees in school psychology at Miami University of Ohio in Oxford.

Chelsea Lewis of Baltimore served as the bride’s maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Maureen Gaites of Oxford and Amanda Maas of Sault St. Marie, the groom’s sister. They wore navy-blue dresses.

The groom’s brother, Adam Maas of Grand Rapids, Mich., was his best man, and groomsmen were Ed Blaskowski of Orlando, Fla., and Dan Holloway of North Lima, brother of the bride. Also participating were Ethan and Kyle Thomas of Boardman, cousins of the bride.
