“The Incredibly Innovative Innovators of Pittsburgh.” Pittsburgh CLO Academy, 130 CLO Academy Way, 8th floor, downtown Pittsburgh. Auditions will be 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 by appointment only for nonequity actors of all types, ages 18 and older. Rehearsals begin Jan. 5. Performances are Jan. 12-May 8. Both are during the day. MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello), substitute brass and percussion for the 2008-09 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 Thursdays at the Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Audition requirements are one solo piece and one orchestral excerpt of your choice.
