VIENNA — Kevin Kablan scored the only goal on an assist from Manuel Esparra with 12 minutes remaining in the second half as Ursuline defeated Mathews in a sectional tournament game. The Irish (8-4-5) had 17 shots on goal and the Mustangs (1-14-0) had two. Goalkeeper Andrew Rich had two saves in recording his seventh shutout. Nathan Bohach had 16 saves for Mathews. Ursuline will travel to meet Maplewood Saturday at 3 p.m.

Bristol shut out Bloomfield 5-0 and Columbiana topped Crestview 6-5 in other Div. III contests. Details were not reported

Howland 4, Hubbard 0

HOWLAND — Eric Albani scored three goals for the Tigers and Connor Gilmour scored one in a sectional game. Joe Bedich, Scott Heinemann, Anthony Russo and Isaac Weisman had an assist apiece. Goalkeeper Dan Miller had three saves. Hubbard’s Steve Roose had eight saves.
