Fugitive of the Week is arrested

BOARDMAN — Township police and members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested a city man on a warrant charging him with a July robbery.

Christopher A. Shiflett, 20, of East Myrtle Avenue, was arrested Tuesday morning at a home on East Marion Avenue. Shiflett is charged with robbery accused of fighting with an employee of TJ Maxx, Boardman-Poland Road, as Shiflett tried to take merchandise without paying for it.

Shiflett was a U.S. Marshals Fugitive of the Week and his photograph and description ran in the Vindicator Monday.
