Another YSU QB quits the team
YOUNGSTOWN — For the second time in just over five weeks a Youngstown State starting quarterback has left the football team after a disappointing loss.
Redshirt freshmen Paul Corsaro of Indianapolis, Ind., did not return with the Penguins from Springfeld, Mo., Saturday after the Penguins lost a 42-28 decision to Missouri State.
Corsaro, who started the game, the third quarterback to start a game this season, played only one series and was benched in favor of true freshman Dailyn Campbell of Kenton.
Five weeks ago starting quarterback Todd Rowan, quit the team after being bench after two straight losses. Junior Brandon Summers was then named the starter, but he was injured the week prior to the Missouri State game. YSU is 2-5 on the season.
