TASHA JOHNSTON/NICHOLAS GESACION III


• POLAND — Tasha Ann Johnston became the bride of Nicholas John Gesacion III at 2 p.m. Aug. 2 at Poland Presbyterian Church.

The Rev. Dr. David Gilbert presided over the vows, and the couple, both of 3800 Gateway Drive, Philadelphia, received congratulations at a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman. They honeymooned in Belize.

The bride, daughter of John and Kimiko Johnston of 558 Ruth Drive, Hubbard, is a language arts teacher at Penn Wood Middle School in Darby, Pa. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and psychology at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa., and she is studying for a master’s in school counseling from West Chester University in West Chester, Pa.

The groom, son of Nick and Diane Gesacion, 11 Walker Court, Poland, is director of new media for the Philadelphia 76ers. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer Information Systems at Mount Union College in Alliance.

The bride’s diamond-white satin strapless gown was designed with a draped sweetheart neckline and ruching in the back.

Courtney Helmlinger and Theresa Hrzic-Colimon were honor attendants, and bridesmaids were Tiffany Fond, Autum Kissinger, Janel Kollar and Nicole Mariani. They wore black dresses with hot-pink sashes. Jasmin Young participated as flower girl.

Adam and Ryan Gesacion were best men, and groomsmen included Michael Brine, Ryan McBride, Jason Roberts and Sean Williams.
