Biden: Ohioans could decide next American decade
WARREN – U.S. Sen. Joe Biden, Democratic vice-presidential nominee, told a crowd in Warren today that the future of America for the next decade could come down to the presidential vote in Ohio.
Biden stressed the importance of Ohio as a key swing state in this presidential election.
Biden sharply criticized U.S. Sen. John McCain, the Republican presidential nominee, for attempting to distract voters from the current economic crisis.
Comparing U.S. Sen. Barack Obama , the Democratic presidential nominee, to McCain, Biden said, "One guy's fighting for you and the other is fighting mad."
Biden said McCain's TV ads are 100 percent negative.
"These attacks don't hurt Barack or hurt me, they hurt the American people," he said. "They try to distract people. I can see why John McCain wants to distract you."
Biden said McCain has nothing new to offer and that's why his campaign has become "so erratic."
