AUCTIONS
• Austintown Colts Youth Football League will sponsor a Chinese auction and basket raffle Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road. Tickets will be sold for a 42-inch flat screen television, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the drawing will be at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served. • Nativity of Christ Church, corner of Miller and Gibson streets in Youngstown, will host a Chinese auction Sunday. Doors open at 1 p.m., and the auction begins at 3. • North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will have an auction at 6 p.m. Thursday at the church hall. Featured will be a variety of new items including wall hangings, furniture, tools, decorator items, gift items and more. Pies will also be available. The food stand will be open at 4:30. CARD/BINGO PARTIES
• Guilford Lake Ruritans, state Route 172, will have bingo at 7 p.m. Wednesday and a euchre card party at 7 p.m. Thursday.
• St. Patrick Altar Guild is sponsoring a card and bingo party with a salad buffet from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the church hall, 1420 Oak Hill Ave. Youngstown. CRAFT SHOWS
• Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, 291 Scoville Drive, Vienna, will have its 7th Annual Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free, and food and refreshments will be available. A Chinese auction and a basket raffle will also be featured.
NIGHTs AT THE RACES
• St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sponsor an adults-only (21 and over) night at the races and Pavlik fight Saturday. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and races begin at 7. There will be door prizes, games, free food, refreshments and a live announcer for Rotunda Race films. The cost of a horse is $10 with owners having a chance to win up to $125. • Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, 480 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers, is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ReStore carries a wide variety of furniture, including a large selection of couches and many large metal professional office desks; used building materials such as doors, windows, sinks and hardware, and plumbing; lighting; home decor items; large and small appliances; electronics; toys; books and much more. All items are sold at low discount prices. ReStore takes donations and sells to the public, all to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s home-building program.
