THURSDAY

• Coitsville members will go to Whitehouse Farms at 2 p.m.

• Johnny Appleseed will meet at 7:30 p.m. for a lecture and craft by Marion Sebastiano of Salt Box Gallery Herbs. Rosemarie Zamary and Sonia Tsvetkoff will serve as co-hostesses, and Barbara McGarry is in charge of the door prize.

• Mahoning Valley Rose Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Davis Center in Mill Creek Park. Andrea Pernotto will give a talk on the components of soil and how to raise the best roses.

SATURDAY

• The topic will be drying flowers when members of Sunflower meet. Mrs. Dorothy Henry will serve as hostess.

• Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
