Home Savings’ service feat to save soles for children

WARREN — Three Home Savings Trumbull County offices have joined forces to save soles.
Between Monday and Nov. 26, the Eastwood, Howland and McDonald branches of Home Savings are working together on Project: Saving Soles, for which they will be collecting new or gently worn athletic and tennis shoes to benefit Children’s Rehabilitation Center, 885 Howland-Wilson Road, Howland.
The center is dedicated to providing rehabilitation services, facilities, and information to children and their families in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, specializing in neurological and orthopedic needs.
Each pair of shoes will be fitted with orthotics to aid with rehabilitation therapy.
Anyone wishing to donate shoes to this project can drop them off at any of the three Home Savings offices:

Other collection sites include the podiatry offices of Dr. Thomas W. Kunkle, 1099 E. Liberty St., and Dr. Frederick D. Perry, 2900 Elm Road N.E., as well as all Kiddie Day Care and Preschools, located at 3990 North River Road N.E., Howland; 5033 Mahoning Ave., Champion; and 842 Woodfield Court, Boardman.
With current assets of $2.7 billion, Home Savings operates 39 banking offices and six loan production offices throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania, employing more than 600 people.
