Beaver Falls downs Mohawk 45-24, remains unbeaten


BEAVER FALLS, Pa — The unbeaten Beaver Falls High football team jumped out to a 21-0 lead Friday en route to a 45-24 victory over Mohawk.

The Tigers are 7-0, 6-0 Midwestern Conference.

Todd Thomas accounted for the three TDs in the first quarter. He caught 59- and 82-yard touchdown passes from quarter Anthony Omogrosso and tallied on a 5-yard run.

Travis Shubert paced the Warriors (4-3, 4-3) as he picked up 55 yards on 15 attempts, which included TD runs of 28 and 3 yards.
