Ashley Cyrus plans wedding date with James Gobel

• NEW MIDDLETOWN — Rex and Cindy Cyrus, 6300 Middletown Road, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Cyrus, and James Gobel, both of 97 Ohlin Drive, and their winter wedding.

He is the son of Tim Gobel of Pelham, Ala., and Paula Risner of Aylett, Va.

The couple have planned a wedding for 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Petersburg.

Invitations are being extended for the ceremony and for their reception that evening at The Georgetown in Boardman.

The bride-elect works as a medical assistant for Dr. Richard and Dr. Gloria Catterlin in Mineral Ridge. She graduated from the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center’s adult education program.

The prospective groom is a CDL driver for Gobel’s Towing in Poland.
