“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m. Sunday, WFMJ Channel 21; and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Time Warner Cable Channel 15 in Trumbull County): Power Ministries of Youngstown will have a Community Outreach Festival in downtown Youngstown next Saturday. Barbara Hays and Brenda Jenkins will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the event.

Next, June Johnson and Ricky George of the Mahoning Valley Task Force on Crime and Violence Prevention will discuss the annual Peace Awards Banquet that will take place Oct. 20 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish hall. Trumbull County crime and violence prevention advocate Miriam Fife will be the keynote speaker, and several organizations and individuals will be honored.

Al Stabilito, public relations director of the American Cancer Society, will talk about October’s being National Breast Cancer Awareness month and the various options available to women in the Valley for free mammograms and breast cancer education.

Finally, Eleanor Klucinec and her children Rachel and Jared will discuss the Children’s Museum of the Valley and its upcoming 2008 Spooktacular events.
