3 indicted in February murder
STAFF REPORT
YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted three people on murder charges in the death of a Howland woman who was fatally shot in Campbell in February.
Indicted Thursday on a murder charge with a gun specification was Tyrell Ravnell, 18, of Halleck Street, Youngstown.
If convicted of killing Diana Noble, 39, of Stillwagon Road, Ravnell faces 15 years to life in prison for the murder charge, plus three years for the gun specification, for a total of 18 years to life.
The other suspects in the Feb. 22 crime, Dominique Lucky, 19, of Gordon Avenue, Campbell, and Christopher J. Hill, 25, of Jackson Street, Campbell, face 15 years to life in prison if convicted of the murder charge. Gun specifications are not attached to the indictments of Lucky and Hill.
Having been shot near the Michael J. Kirwan Homes, Noble drove herself and her live-in boyfriend to their Howland residence without realizing she’d been shot in her left side, said Detective Gus Nicolaou of the Campbell Police Department.
After arriving home, Noble died of internal bleeding from the gunshot wound, the detective said.
Nicolaou then said the shooting was drug-related, but he declined to be more specific. Noble’s boyfriend gave a vague description of the suspects, the detective added.
