• BOARDMAN — Stephanie Shannon Donahue, a daughter of Maureen J. Donahue of Canfield and William F. Donahue of Boardman, and Philip John Rhodes, a son of John and Gayle Rhodes of Salem, were married
at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 23 at Westmin-ster Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. David Joachim officiated, and a reception at St. Jude Hall in Columbiana followed. After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple live in Salem.
The bride’s strapless white crinkle taffeta gown was designed with a square neckline, an asymmetrical hip wrap, and a full skirt enhanced with swirl ruffles.
A raspberry-colored gown was worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Megan Donahue, Wearing coral gowns with raspberry sashes were the bridesmaids, Valerie Rhodes, the groom’s sister; Christina Kist; the bride’s cousin; Nicole Weber; Mindy Wutrick; and Mellie Joe Wells. Flower girl was Norah McGann.
Grant Cope served as best man, and groomsmen were Joe Grouber, Brady Baker, Rudy Kiko, Blake Wolford, and Jesse Barton. Ring bearer was Bobby Kist, and ushers were Robert Kist and Andy Miller.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and is a graphic designer with Home Savings and Loan in Youngstown. The groom is employed at Woodworx Construction and the family farm.
