KRISTEN CAPPELLINO/NICHOLAS GENNARO
• YOUNGSTOWN — Kristen Marie Cappellino, a daughter of Rick and Rose Cappellino, 305 Paris Drive, Austintown, and Nicholas Gennaro, a son of Mark and Kim Gennaro, 3625 Buena Vista Drive, Hubbard, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 21 at St. Anthony Church.
Monsignors Robert Siffrin and John DeMarinis officiated, and a reception at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty followed.
The bride’s off-white silk princess-style ball gown was enhanced with Baroque fleur-de-lis embroidery and featured tiered ivory piping and beading along the hemline and chapel train.
Black gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Elizabeth Kamp, the bride’s cousin, and the bridesmaids, Jacque Gennaro, the groom’s sister; Danielle Cappellino, the bride’s cousin; and Michelle Hamilton. Flower girl was the bride’s godchild, Emily Kamp.
Best man was Matt Resatar, and groomsmen were Rich Cappellino, brother of the bride; James Lynn; and Sam Protopapa.
Mrs. Gennaro graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is a physical-education teacher at McDonald High School.
Mr. Gennaro is a warehouse assistant with Toys “R” Us Distribution Center in Youngstown. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in applied science.
The couple live at 5612 London Drive, Austintown.
