• MEREDITH, N.H. — Church Landing on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee was the setting on July 18 for the wedding of Jennifer Ellen Glassman and U.S. Army Capt. Nathan Paolo Jacobs, both of New York City, and for their reception afterward.

The Rev. Trevor Walker of Lincolnshire, England, officiated for the daughter of Jan and Alan Glassman, Center Barnstead N.H., and New York City, and the son of Lynn Jacobs of Canfield and the late Paolo Jacobs. The couple honeymooned at Curacao and live in New York City.

The bride’s silk organza gown featured a ruched waist, tulip bodice and chapel train.

Dark pink gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Sarah Derico, and the bridesmaids, Margo Jacobs, Amy Chase, Eileen Hubert and Rachel Storrs. Flower girl was Taryn Bretton.

Jarrod Schiffbauer was best man, and groomsmen were Capt. Matthew Adams, Jonathan Conrad, Andrew Edmonds and Daniel Simnowitz. Ushers were Capt. Keith Brocey and Niraj Shetty. Also participating were Jody Skelton and Connor Galvin.

The bride graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies. Capt. Jacobs received a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, a juris doctorate from Ohio State University and a master’s of law from the London (England) School of Economics. He served in Iraq and is stationed at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point in the department of law.
