“Kath & Kim” (8:30 p.m., NBC): Molly Shannon and Selma Blair star in “Kath & Kim,” a zany sitcom based on an Australian hit. Kath is a frisky 40-something divorcee. Kim is her bratty daughter who moves back in with her after a failed marriage. Lots of dysfunction ensues.

“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (9 p.m., CBS): Change is in the air as this highly popular drama enters its ninth season. Already, Jorja Fox and Gary Dourdan have bid farewell (although both will appear in this week’s opener), and now William Petersen’s Gil Grissom is set to depart after 10 episodes. He’ll be replaced in the crime lab by the talented Laurence Fishburne.

“Eleventh Hour” (10 p.m., CBS): The new crime drama “Eleventh Hour” focuses on a brainy biophysicist (Rufus Sewell) who investigates crimes of a scientific nature for the government. The opener has him going after someone who may be cloning humans.

“Myths and Legends” (10 p.m., TV Land): The behind-the-scenes series looks at the lives, the news and the truth behind such stars as Ozzy Obsourne and Susan Lucci.

“Life on Mars” (10:01 p.m., ABC): Based on a British hit, “Life on Mars” tells the story of a New York cop (Jason O’Mara) who is hit by a car and inexplicably wakes up in 1973. Don’t you just hate it when that happens? Harvey Keitel and Michael Imperioli also star.

“Testees” (10:30 p.m., FX): Here’s a gauge to help you figure out beforehand if you’re likely to be amused: Are you laughing, or are you cringing, at the news that this show — which is about two best friends who make their living as subjects for a drug-and-product-testing lab — is titled “Testees”? In each episode, these chum(p)s deal with the surprising, often humiliating side effects from their latest round as guinea pigs for the company called Testico. On the premiere, one of the lads displays all the symptoms of pregnancy. Funny? Consider this warning label: May induce laughter, but discontinue if gross-out persists. Steve Markle and Jeff Kassel star in “Testees,” which was created by Kenny Hotz (mastermind of the raunchy competition show “Kenny vs. Spenny”).
