NEWTON FALLS — Led by Stephanie Blair, Shannon Miller and Kelsey McGregor, Newton Falls won its first league championship in 15 years. Blair had seven aces, 17 points, one dig and 11 assists, Miller five aces. 12 points and one dig and McGregor two aces, three points, one block, one dig and 15 kills, as the Tigers clinched the All-American Conference Blue Division championship. Newton Falls (12-6 , 9-1 AAC Blue Division), which previously was a member of the Trumbull Athletic Conference, is guided by the husband-wife team of coach Kristina Baker and assistant Mark Baker. LaBrae 25-14-25-25, Brookfield 20-25-19-23

BROOKFIELD — Courtney Aldridge had nine kills and two blocks, Olivia Wood had 10 blocks and Tiffany Olson had 12 points and two aces for LaBrae (11-10, 8-2 AAC Blue). For Brookfield (9-11, 6-4), Brittany Hiner had 13 kills and six blocks, Ashley Swezey had 18 kills, 35 digs and four blocks and Hillary Christy had eight points and two aces.

CHAMPION — Jessica Nicholas had 11 kills and three blocks for Struthers, while Megan Frantz added 19 assists and 10 points and Mariah Watson had six kills and 10 points. JVs: Struthers 2-1

SALEM — Amy Scullion had four aces, 15 kills and two blocks, Mariah Halleck had two aces, six kills and nine assists, Taylor Sauerwein had one ace and 18 assists for Salem (18-2, 8-0 AAC Red). LISBON — Kalie Luklan had four blocks and eight kills for Canfield (15-6, 4-3 AAC Red). Megg Andrews added 11 kills, three blocks and three aces and Abby Malsch had 13 assists, four kills and three aces. JVs: Canfield 25-6, 25-11

CORTLAND — Courtney Angelo had eight kills and nine points for the Eagles (18-1, 8-0 AAC White). Jackie Carlisle had 17 kills. Chelsea Kelligher led the Bulldogs (13-8, 4-4) with 11 points and four aces. Nicole Crandall had five points and 13 digs. JVs: Lakeview 25-23, 25-14.

YOUNGSTOWN — Seniors Morgan Piacquadio scored 24 points and had 19 digs and 19 assists for the Eagles (14-5, 5-0) to win the SVC title. Liz Nidel had 14 points and 13 digs and Bethany Cervi had 15 points 10 digs and six kills. Junior Kim Sylvester had six aces and sophomore Bethany Woodley had four kills. JVs: East 25-17, 25-22

YOUNGSTOWN — McKenzie Jones had nine kills, Chelsey Spotleson had 22 assists and Allison Sklenar had eight aces for Mooney (7-12, 4-1 Steel Valley Conference). Kourtney Williams had five digs and two blocks, Ja’Quana Threats had eight points, four aces and four digs and Laura-Ashley Howard had three kills for the Raiders (5-13, 0-4).

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Kallie Rogers scored 14 points and she had 34 assists and two blocks for the Tigers (16-3, 11-2 ITCL Tier One). Rachael Kennedy had 16 kills, seven blocks and seven points. Ashley Davis had 15 kills, 10 points and two aces. Taylor Shiley led the Rams (10-8, 6-7) with 14 blocks, nine kills, four points and two aces. Lea Whitman had nine points and six assists.

NEW WATERFORD — Rachel Sell sparked the Golden Eagles (14-4, 11-2 ITCL Tier 1) with 31 assists and five aces. Caitlin Higgins had seven digs, five kills nd two blocks. Hillary Hoppel had 11 digs and four kills. The Rebels (7-12) were led by Paige McElroy with six digs, two points and 10 assists. Chelsea Bowker had five kills, five blocks and four digs. BERLIN CENTER — Caitlin Keck scored 13 points with four aces, 18 digs and eight kills for the Bluejays (16-2, 12-0) who won the ITCL Tier Two championship. Karynn Maskacinec had 28 sets and 15 assists and Maddie Griffith had 13 points and Alyssa Chine 13 kills. Claire Ferrando led the Blue Devils with nine points. JVs: Western Reserve 25-15, 25-10

WELLSVILLE — Sam Glasser scored 10 points and she had 25 assists for the Bears (7-14, 5-6 ITCL Tier Two). Clarissa Perkins had nine points and seven kills, Staci Medvec 25 digs, Emma Merrill six blocks and Kayla Kozar five aces. JVs: Wellsville 25-6, 25-19.
