Midlothian Subway robbed tonight


YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for two men in the aggravated robbery of a fast-food restaurant on Midlothian Boulevard this evening.

The two men entered the Subway at 830 E. Midlothian Blvd. at 7:41 tonight, demanding cash from the register, each brandishing a small black handgun. The two employees handed over $68.48 to the men, who wore T-shirts wrapped over their mouths, black sunglasses and hooded sweatshirts. One of the suspect’s hoods featured dark fur around its rim.

The suspects are described as black males, 5’6” and 5’9”, 150 and 180 pounds, respectively, and both with medium builds.

Police retrieved from the Subway a security tape and three fingerprints from the service counter.

The suspects were seen exiting the Subway, headed towards the Melrose Apartments on foot.
