Howland’s Ozanich advances to state in golf

MASSILLON — Howland’s Kelsey Ozanich shot an 85 at Tuesday’s Division I district girls golf tournament on the par-72 Legends of Massillon course, earning one of four individual qualifying spots for next weekend’s state tournament in Columbus.

Ozanich was the only area girl to advance. Canfield’s team shot 363 to finish fifth behind Walsh Jesuit (320), Massillon Jackson (345), Massillon Perry (348) and Hudson (357). The top four teams advanced. Howland finished 11th out of 12 teams.
