GIRARD
Oct. 5
Domestic violence: Police took into custody a 16-year-old East Kline Street boy at his home and charged him after the teen’s mother alleged he grabbed her arm and pushed her during an argument.
Theft: An Austintown woman’s wallet was missing and she found out her debit card had been used twice without consent at a North State Street gas station.
Breaking and entering: A Girard man discovered someone had entered his storage unit on North State Street and removed a four-wheel vehicle and a helmet.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 100 block of Trumbull Avenue reported an object was tossed through his window, shattering it and causing $300 worth of damage.
Assault: A North Highland Avenue woman said a 50-year-old Girard man pushed her into a door during an argument about money; the man told police he had been pushed first.
Oct. 6
Theft: A man in the 600 block of East Broadway Avenue reported a backpack blower missing from his garage.
Theft: A Stull Avenue woman reported her son’s Nintendo game system missing.
Theft: A man in the 300 block of Plymouth Avenue reported a $400 pistol stolen from his vehicle.
Attempted breaking and entering: A worker for Checkered Express Inc., 1560 S. State St., found pry marks on two doors, after someone apparently tried to enter.
Arrest: A Girard man, 33, faced charges of menacing, disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle impaired after police responded to a disturbance near South Randolph Avenue. The intoxicated man was begging his mother for money and, when advised to leave, threatened to burn down the residence, the report said.

Theft: A Louis Avenue woman accused a 36-year-old Warren woman of taking a box of blank checks and trying to cash some.

Oct. 3
Theft by deception: An official with Blue Ribbon Rentals Inc., 3620 Belmont Ave., told authorities of conducting an inventory and discovering more than 100 items unaccounted for.
Oct. 4
Arrest: A Youngstown woman, 38, was arrested as part of a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive. She was wanted on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Domestic violence: A 41-year-old Church Hill-Hubbard Road man was taken into custody at his residence and charged with domestic violence, obstructing official business and resisting arrest. The man’s girlfriend alleged he pushed her down, and he refused to cooperate with police, they said.
Oct. 5
Theft: The driver of a black Ford sport-utility vehicle pumped and failed to pay for $30 worth of gasoline before leaving a Unimart station, 2703 Belmont Ave.
Assault: A Campbell woman told police a township woman tossed a brick and struck the accuser in the forehead.
Arrest: Police acted on a tip and took into custody a 24-year-old Logan Way man who was wanted on a warrant. Additional charges of resisting arrest as well as possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were filed when, authorities said, the man fled and was later found with a bag of suspected marijuana and a suspected marijuana pipe.
Theft: A Campbell man reported a 12-inch miter saw had been removed from his truck while he was in the 1500 block of Gypsy Lane.

Theft: A custodian at W.S Guy Middle School, 4115 Shady Road, reported a set of keys missing.
