CARRIE SARGENT/JUSTIN WERBISKIS
• CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carrie Ann Sargent and Justin Werbiskis, both of 3637 Annlin Ave., were united in marriage on Aug. 1 during a ceremony officiated by Rebecca Nagy at Roof With a View, where their reception also took place.
The daughter of Carol and Larry Sargent of Boardman and the son of Larry Werbiskis of Chicopee, Mass., and Sandy Warren of Charlotte, left on a wedding trip to Hawaii.
Since their return, the couple live at the Annlin Avenue address.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, wore an off-white silk crepe gown fashioned with gathered straps, a draped V-neckline and a puddle train.
Wearing black gowns were the bridesmaids, Shannon Barnes of Pittsburgh and Jolia Georges of Cape Cod, Mass.
Serving as groomsmen were Bob Koch of Greensboro, N.C., and Matt Baker of Winchester Bay, Ore.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree at Youngstown State University and a master’s at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and graduated with certification as a school psychologist from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. She is a school psychologist with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.
The groom is a manager with Speedee Prints in Charlotte.
