South Side home hit by gunfire

YOUNGSTOWN — A house in the 300 block of Hilton Avenue on the South Side was hit by gunfire Sunday night, police said. The resident said she heard at least 10 shots and told her granddaughter to “hit the floor” around 10 p.m. The woman found a bullet hole in a wall in her granddaughter’s bedroom. No one was hit. The resident told police the shooting may have something to do with her 18-year-old son and some problems he has with another man.
