Lane restrictions at I-680 and Route 7 start Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — Interstate 680 and state Route 7 (Market Street) will have lane restrictions in either or both directions from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday through Monday for bridge painting work.

Beginning Friday night, the I-680 southbound exit ramp to Market St. northbound to downtown Youngstown will be closed until 6 a.m. Monday. The detour will be I-680 southbound to Route 7 to U.S. Route 422 eastbound to Wick Avenue.

This work is part of a $2.4 million project to re-deck and paint the Market Street bridge over I-680. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late May 2009.
