LEAVITTSBURG — Matt Britton scored two goals and Matt Tharp had the other for the Leopards (9-3). Tom Stark assisted on two goals and Eric Wolf had one. Goalkeeper Josh Hideg made five saves.

Poland 6, Beaver Local 0

POLAND — Ryan Rovnak scored three goals while Ryan Stokel added two and Spencer Booth one for the Bulldogs (9-4). Matt Mrozek and Taylor Malaniak each had an assist. Goalkeeper Andrew Rice of the Beavers made 10 saves.

Howland 6, Salem 0

HOWLAND — Isaac Weisman, Scott Heinemann, Connor Gilmour, Shane Field, Ryan Gerin and Joe Bedich each scored a goal for the Tigers. Eric Albani had four assists and Jon Cole one. Quakers goalkeeper Rick Samu made 13 saves. JV: Howland 5-0.

GIRLS SOCCER

Badger 5, Youngstown Christian 2

KINSMAN — Amelia Deraway and Shawna McNeely each scored two goals for Badger (6-6-2). Stacy Deraway added another. Rashida Strozier scored both of Youngstown Christian’s goals in the second half on assists by Ariel Rivera. Taylor Phillips had three assists for the Braves while Tara Sudon and Kate Miller each had one. Kelsey Flowers made nine saves for the Braves and Kaitylyn Vestal had 15 for the Eagles (2-9-4).

South Range 3, East Liverpool 1

EAST LIVERPOOL — Justin Neimi, Jordan Baker and Joe Stephenson each scored a goal for the Raiders (11-1-2). Andrew Edwards had an assist and Luke Yeagley made eight saves.

Howland 3, West Branch 0

BELOIT — Gina Albani, Olivia Nicholas and Elana Maksimoff scored for the unbeaten Tigers (12-0-2) who have been ranked in the top 10 in the Div. I poll the last four weeks. Lauren Hawes, Jessica Wilson, Megan Long and Abby Nicholas each had an assist. Tami Pelleman made 11 saves for West Branch. Casey Haering recorded her 10th shutout of the season. Howland has scored 34 goals this season and allowed only five. JV: Howland 4-0.

MASSILLON — Amy Scullion had three aces, 25 kills and four blocks; Alli Ward had one ace and 16 kills; Taylor Sauerwein had two aces and 26 assists and Mariah Halleck had one ace, three kills, two blocks and 21 assists for Salem (17-2). JV: Salem, 25-18, 25-22.

Canfield 25-25-25, East 21-8-14

YOUNGSTOWN — Megg Andrews paced the Cardinals (14-6) with 10 kills. Cara Cupler had 10 points, eight aces and seven assists. Sara Shoemaker had seven points, four digs and two aces while Kalie Luklan had six points, six kills and two blocks.

South Range 25-25 Ursuline 13-22

NORTH LIMA — Chelsea Leson had 13 digs for the Raiders (3-16). Lisa Dory had seven digs and five kills while Patty Shuster had eight digs, six kills and four blocks. Toni Geffert had 10 assists and five digs. Taylor Benton scored seven points with two aces, two digs, three kills and three blocks for the Irish (2-16).

Heartland Christian 25-25, South Range 11-14

NORTH LIMA — Kimberly Stearns led Heartland Christian with 13 points, four aces, seven kills and three blocks. Lauren Mitchell had 13 points, 18 assists and three digs. Chelsea Leson had 10 digs for the Raiders. Sarah Sauerwein had four assists and two digs.
