Ghosts and Goblins head to DeYor


YOUNGSTOWN — Ghosts and Goblins, the first of a series of interactive learning programs sponsored by the Youngstown Symphony Guild, will take place at 11 a.m. Oct. 25 at the DeYor Performing Arts Center.

Children are invited to arrive in costume. Youngstown Symphony Orchestra Tiny Tot performers Sally Williams and double bassist Jeffrey Bremer will present a concert in Ford Family Recital Hall.

Titled “Child’s Play,” the interactive programs are geared for children 3 and older who are accompanied by an adult. Each Child’s Play event will feature educational activity centers, lunch and musical entertainment.

Future Child’s Play events will include Brunch With Santa on Dec. 6 and Fantasy and Fairy Tales on Feb. 7. All sessions will begin at 11 a.m. at the DeYor and are expected to conclude by 2 p.m.

Tickets are available for single events or the Child’s Play Series package. The cost to attend all three events is $60 per adult and $30 per child. Series ticket holders will be guaranteed seating at each event. Tickets to single events are $25 per adult and $15 per child.
