Fire leaves Warren home uninhabitable
WARREN — City firefighters said an electrical problem sparked a blaze that did $25,000 damage at the home of Carol Walker of 1334 Parkman Road.
Walker and others were in the home when a smoke detector alerted them to a second floor blaze around 4:20 p.m. Friday, firefighters said. They were able to get out of the two-and-one-half-story frame house safely.
The house was uninhabitable after the fire, and Walker told authorities she had a place where she could stay temporarily.
