• YOUNGSTOWN — Frank Timothy Gallagher and Katie Lauren MacDonald, both of 35 Neff Drive, Canfield, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. May 31 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church by the Rev. Paul Heine.

A reception at The Avalon Inn in Howland honored the daughter of Katherine MacDonald of Canfield and Scott MacDonald, also of Canfield, and the son of Deborah Maloney of Canfield and Timothy Gallagher of Warren before they left for a honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The couple live in Canfield.

Clover-green gowns were worn by Sarah Pitzer and Ashley Stephens, the honor attendants, and the bridesmaids, Kate Vross, Brooke Renner, Kelly Gallagher, Sue Maloney, Erin Lewis and Sarah Bobko.

Patrick Scenna and Jeffrey Tach shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Robert Gomori, Alex Amendolea, Zachary Amendolea, Ryan MacDonald, Michael Porinchak and Michael Tarr. Ring bearer was Colin Tarr, and ushers were Kevin Culp and Matthew Koenig.

The bride graduated from Mount Union College and earned her master’s degree in early childhood education at Youngstown State University. She is a kindergarten teacher with Western Reserve Local School District, Berlin Center.

The groom, a lending associate with Farmers National Bank in Canfield, graduated from YSU with a degree in finance.
