Coaches walk to benefit cancer society is Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — The Coaches vs. Cancer 3-mile walk to benefit for the American Cancer Society will be Saturday at Youngstown State University’s outdoor track. Members of the Youngstown State University Men’s Basketball team and their coaches are inviting members of the community to register at 9 a.m. and take part in the walk, which will begin at 10.

The non-competitive event will be held rain or shine, and participants can walk at their own pace.

The entry fee is $10 per person, and there will be a discount for YSU students who show a student ID card. There will be T-shirts, door prizes and a raffle.
