• CLEVELAND — The June 21 wedding of Carrie Kirven of Brunswick Hills and Dave Huspaska of Brunswick took place at 2:30 p.m. at the Old Stone Church and was followed by a reception at North Olmsted Party Center.

Afterward the daughter of Fred and Elma Kirven of Boardman and the son of Gary and Julia Huspaska of Cleveland left on a wedding trip to Jamaica.

Upon return, they live in Brunswick Hills.

The bride, a flight attendant with Continental Airlines, graduated from Kent State University with a degree in criminal justice. The groom earned a degree in criminal justice/political science at Akron University and is a police sergeant with North Olmsted Police Department.

The strapless chiffon gown worn by the bride featured an asymmetrical ruched bodice accented with beading, a corset back with cascading streamers, and a chapel train.

Wearing a mocha-colored gown was Colleen Lucarell of Lynn Haven, Fla., the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and a pale pink gown was worn by Kendra Huspaska of Brunswick Hills, the groom’s daughter and junior bridesmaid.

The duties of best man were performed by Don Walling of Cleveland, and serving as junior groomsman was Barrett Huspaska of Brunswick Hills, the groom’s son.
