Wean Foundation donates to child-care project

WARREN — A foundation in Warren has granted $39,921 to the Early Childhood Resource Center in Canton.

The Warren-based Raymond John Wean Foundation, a philanthropic agency in Warren, donated the money to the ECRC to create networking meetings between child care administrators in both Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

The meetings, called the “Lunch n’ Learn” program, was modeled after networking luncheons in Stark County. The ECRC which is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System that works to improve early education and development in the county.
