Orientation planned for Junior Hibernians

CANFIELD — The Junior Division of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians will sponsor an orientation for new and prospective members from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 26 at 7539 Highbury Pointe in Westford.

Membership in Junior LAOH is open to girls from 6 to 18 who have Irish ancestry by birth, descent or adoption. The motto is “Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity.

Meetings are held on a weekend every two months and on Irish holidays, and include music, scrapbook sessions, an Irish topic and a snack. For more information, call Sally Murphy Pallante, (330) 533-7542.
