Miss Kupec to wed Mr. Ross on Nov. 1 in North Carolina

• YOUNGSTOWN — Robert J. Kupec of Youngstown is announcing the engagement of his daughter, Lisa M. Kupec of Hickory, N.C., and Patrick F. Ross, also of Hickory, a son of Pete and Rhonda Ross of Hickory.

Miss Kupec, also a daughter of the late Peggy Kupec, graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with a degree in elementary education. She is a first-grade teacher with Burke County Schools in Morganton, N.C.

Mr. Ross is employed by Annett Holdings of Des Moines, Iowa.

The couple will be married in an open ceremony at 5 p.m. Nov. 1 at East Valdese Baptist Church in Valdese, N.C. Invitations will be extended for their evening reception at Crowne Plaza in Hickory.
