Wisconsin 59, No. 6 Baylor 58

ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands — Wisconsin’s Alyssa Karel scored 15 points, including a jumper with seven seconds left. Danielle Wilson had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Baylor (6-1).

No. 8 Texas A&M 70, Pepperdine 60

MALIBU, Calif. — Danielle Gant scored 19 points and Sydney Carter added a career-high 17 to help Texas A&M win the Timeout 4 HIV/AIDS Tournament.

No. 11 Texas 76, Georgia Tech 68

BOCA RATON, Fla. — Brittainey Raven scored 20 points to lead Texas to the win in the opening round of the FAU Thanksgiving Classic.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Kellie Watson hit five straight 3-pointers to help ignite a big run and Notre Dame (5-0) overcame a 34-point performance by Michigan State’s Aisha Jefferson.

MIAMI — Sherell Hobbs scored 15 points to lead Auburn to the victory in the opening round of the FIU Thanksgiving Classic. DeWanna Bonner added 14 points for Auburn (6-0).

No. 17 Vanderbilt 72, Virginia Tech 43

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Christina Wirth scored 22 points and Vanderbilt forced 20 turnovers in the win. Merideth Marsh added 12 points for the Commodores (6-1), who used a 30-11 run to take a 38-19 lead into halftime.

Florida 65, No. 21 Arizona State 60

FREEPORT, Bahamas — Sha Brooks scored 15 of her 25 points in the second half, and Florida held on to win the Lucaya Division championship of the Junkanoo Jam. Briann January led the Sun Devils with 16 points and nine assists. Lauren Lacey added 10 points and Sybil Dosty grabbed 12 rebounds.

No. 25 Xavier 66, Winthrop 43

CINCINNATI — Ta’Shia Phillips had 20 points and 13 rebounds to help Xavier earn its third straight win. Phillips scored 12 points in the second half on the way to her fourth double-double of the season. Jerri Taylor added 13 points for the Musketeers (5-2). Winthrop scored eight points in the first 71‚Ñ2 minutes of the second half before going scoreless for nearly seven minutes during a 15-0 Xavier run. Jessica Fansler led Winthrop (2-3) with a season-high 18 points.
