I-80 westbound in Austintown reduced to one lane tonight

AUSTINTOWN — Interstate 80 westbound just before the Ohio Turnpike will be reduced to one lane from 7 until about midnight tonight for pavement striping.

The work is part of a $91.5 million major widening and

reconstruction project of I-80 between the Ohio Turnpike and the I-80/state Route 11 interchange.

The project includes the reconstruction and replacement of the

current 2,500-foot twin bridges over Meander Reservoir. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by October 2009.
