East Side man wounded today
YOUNGSTOWN — Curtis Jackson showed up at St. Elizabeth Health Center around 3 a.m. today, shot in the right shoulder, police said. Later, a 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass with roughly 13 bullet holes in it was found abandoned in the hospital parking lot. Jackson, 33, of Forestview Avenue told police he had been a passenger in an Oldsmobile traveling on Albert Street when a silver Dodge Intrepid pulled alongside and someone inside opened fire. The shooter reportedly wore a black mask. Jackson said he was driven to the hospital in the Oldsmobile by a man he knows as “Bob,” who didn’t remain. Jackson’s condition wasn’t immediately available.
