AUXILIARIES

• Girard Eagles 2172 Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the back hall. The auxiliary Christmas party will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 14 with a catered dinner. Cost is $7, and the menu includes roast beef and chicken, potatoes, salad, coffee and tea. There will be a $10 gift exchange. Entertainment will be by The Cloggers. Reservations are due Dec. 10.

• Sulmona Valley Auxiliary will have a Christmas party on Tuesday at Dona Vito’s Italian Grille. Reservations were handled by Sandy Redeske, (330) 755-5192. New members are welcome. CLASSES

• Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s, Route 224, Boardman. Guests are welcome.

• Campbell Memorial Class of 1950 has moved its regular December luncheon to Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Boardman, where a Christmas party will take place.

• Chaney High School 1942 January and June Alumni will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s in Austintown. All classmates and guests are welcome. No reservations required.

• Chaney High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 at Molly’s on Salt Springs Road. All alumni are invited.

• Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s on Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

• Mahoning Valley Civil War Round Table will meet at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman. Jim Lewis, ranger/historian at Stones River NMP, will present “They Fought at Stones River,” an overview of the battle using the personal stories of several soldiers from both sides. • Poland Center Homemakers will have their Christmas party at noon Thursday at the Youngstown Sports Grille. There will be a $5 gift exchange. The next meeting will be in February.

• Seton III will meet Thursday at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St., for a 12:30 p.m. social followed by a luncheon at 1. Marian Baker, Caroline Gustafson, Sue Williams, Elaine Mazur and Jackie Price will be hostesses. Members are asked to take hats and gloves for Sister Isabel to distribute to needy children. Cash donations will also be accepted for needy families. There will be no January meeting.

LIBRARY FRIENDS

• Friends of the Austintown Library will have the annual holiday luncheon at 10 a.m. Dec. 15. The event is open to the public at a fee of $6. For reservations, call (330) 792-3504 or (330) 799-6015. The program will feature holiday music.

• Friends of the Poland Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the library meeting room for coffee. A business session will begin at 10. The musical program by Jay Dee Pamer and Pete Rukenbrod will feature “Songs By Two.” Hostesses will be Beverly Gibson, Emma Eggleston and Diane Fodor. Magazines and book donations will be collected for the book cart.

POLITICAL CLUBS

• Warren Republican Women’s Club will have its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at DiLucia’s Restaurant, Elm Road, Warren. Marines from the Toys For Tots campaign will be there.
