3 men injured in auto accident Thursday in New Wilmington
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Three men were injured after a one-car accident, state police in New Castle reported.
State police said Patrick Sean Hughes, 21, of Volant was driving on Pa. Route 956 at 3:20 a.m. Thursday when he lost control of his car, struck a mailbox, crossed back over the road, hit an electric pole, then traveled down an embankment, across a field and into a creek.
State police said he and two passengers, Ronald Paul Cramer, 20, of New Wilmington and Jeremy Ray Herron, 21, of New Wilmington were injured. Hughes and Cramer were taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle. The hospital would not report their conditions today.
Herron also was injured, but was not taken to a hospital. None of the men were wearing seat belts, state police added.
