SATURDAY

• North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will serve a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. The all-you-can-eat meal will feature eggs, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, sausage, breakfast rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, juice and coffee. SUNDAY

• St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, 7782 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, will be serving spaghetti dinners from noon to 3 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread, pastries and coffee. The price is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children. Takeouts will be available. There will be no pasta dinner in December.

• Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 252 E. Wood St., Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $4.50 for children 12 and under.

MONDAY

• Hendersonville United Methodist Church, state Route 965, two miles east of Route 173, between Jackson Center and Franklin, Pa., will have a hunter’s chili dinner from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. All-you-can-eat homemade chili, bread, pie and beverage will be $6 for adults and $3 for children under 10. Take a quart jar to be filled for $4.

• Vincent Methodist Church, Walnut Street, Jackson Center, Pa., will serve a hunter’s breakfast, an all-you-can-eat buffet beginning at 4:30 a.m. Meals include scrambled eggs, pancakes, home fries, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy over biscuits, toast, coffee, tea and juice. The cost is $7.

TAKING ORDERS

• Our Lady of Hungary Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, is selling smoked kolbasi for Christmas at $3.75 per pound. To place an order, call (330) 629-2695 or (330) 533-1444 before Tuesday. Orders must be picked up at Mindszenty Hall between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 16. Home deliveries to homebound seniors will be made on Dec. 17. Homemade Christmas cookies also will be for sale. Proceeds will be used for the expenses of the church.

• Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, corner of Cameron and Gibson avenues, Youngstown, is taking orders until Dec. 7 for nut, apricot or poppyseed rolls for the holidays. • Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave., Warren, is having an annual holiday cookie sale. Cookies will be $15 for a small tray or $22 for a large tray. Pizzelles are $3 a dozen. • Girard Eagles 2172 Auxiliary will have a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 in the back hall at the Eagles aerie, 26 W. Wilson Ave. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for those over 50 and children 5 to 10, and free for kids 1 to 5. The meal will include two meatballs, tossed salad, dessert and coffee or tea. • Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman Poland Road, will have takeout dinners of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans available on Dec. 4 from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). The cost is $6. No need to preorder or get out of the car.

• St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will have its annual Christmas cookie sale from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 in the cafeteria. The cost is $8 per pound for a variety of homemade cookies. Pizzelles and clothespin cookies are $4 per dozen. Also available will be kolachi, while supplies last.

• St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 348 Robbins Ave., Niles, has scheduled a creamed chicken and biscuit luncheon for Dec. 7. Serving will be from noon to 3 p.m., and the cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children and free for those under 5. There will also be a bake sale, gift basket raffle and sale of cookies and candy.
