Burglary: A home on Hood Drive was broken into and a 50-inch plasma television was stolen, along with a Wii gaming system and a PlayStation 2 with two controllers.

Criminal damaging: A female student’s car was reported damaged in the parking lot at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, on the previous Friday.

Nov. 19

Drug abuse: A 35-year-old Canfield man was arrested for possession of a bag of 0.3 grams of suspected cocaine at the Square and Newton Street. Police also found $245 in cash on the man.

Property damage: A contractor at St. Michael’s Church, 300 N. Broad St., reported that a tractor-trailer attempted to turn around in the northern lot of the church and damaged cement curbs located in the entrance and the rear island of the parking lot. The company that owns the rig is also doing its investigation.

Burglary: Entrance was gained through a west garage door at a home in the 60 block of N. Edgehill Ave.

Theft: A Dell laptop computer was stolen at Westgate Ford, 3680 LeHarps Road.

Menacing: A man is accused of menacing at apartments in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.

Theft: A 16-year-old male was caught stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunication harassment: A man is accused of telecommunications harassment at a home in the 1000 block of Countryside Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted calls were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Cider Mill Crossing.

Theft: $50 in gasoline was stolen at the Get-Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: DVDs were stolen and a man was arrested at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Menacing: An employee was threatened by another employee’s father at Little Caesar’s Pizza, 4774 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at an apartment in the 60 block of N. Raccoon Road.

Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $10 bill was reported at Shell gas station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.

Robbery: A man was struck and a prescription taken from him at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.

Attempted aggravated robbery: Two men and two women attempted a carjacking at Aldi’s, 5863 Mahoning Ave. One suspect was in possession of a handgun.

Breaking and entering: A Rebel Wireless tower site at Fuel Mart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive, was entered and copper stolen. An employee sent to do alarm service discovered the theft, and found the fence cut.

Theft: Cash from a bank account was stolen at a home in the 200 block of N. Edgehill Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: An unidentified caller was making harassing calls at a home in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Aggravated menacing: A man is a suspect in aggravated menacing at a home in the 1000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal trespassing: A male is a suspect in trespassing at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested at London Drive and Madrid Drive for possession of cocaine.

Identity theft: Accounts were opened using the victim’s information at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Attempted theft: Two suspects attempted to steal a mirror from a vehicle at a home in the 100 block of Carnegie Ave.

Theft: An X-box wireless headset was stolen at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: The victim’s name and account number were used to purchase items at a home in the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive.

Breaking and entering: A Craftsman snow blower was taken at a home in the 200 block of S. Roanoke Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A female was receiving text messages from an unknown male at a home in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.

Theft: Compact discs were stolen from an auto in the 5000 block of Sterling Drive.

Burglary: There were no signs of forced entry in a burglary at an apartment in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A theft was reported at an apartment in the 80 block of N. Raccoon Road.

Auto theft: A red 1997 Ford F-25 with a plow was stolen at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A gas tank was drilled and fuel was stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of N. Meridian Road.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an auto at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Items were stolen from a building that had been vacated by the renter in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: A cell phone was stolen at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Merchandise was taken at Wal-Mart.

Felonious assault: A woman is accused of stabbing a man at a home in the 2000 block of Amberly Ave.

Obstructing official business: A man was issued a summons for curfew violation and a second summons for obstructing official business at Burkey Road at South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A wallet and contents were stolen, including an Ohio license, currency and credit card, from an auto at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: A snowblower and a 50- to 60 year-old red extended cab Dodge Ram were taken from a garage at a home in the 4000 block of Nottingham Ave.

Theft: A woman reported having her purse and contents taken at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: An ex-girlfriend took the victim’s belongings at a home in the 5000 block of Red Apple Drive.

Criminal damaging: A woman had four tires slashed on a vehicle at Bill’s Place.

Drug offense: A Mineral Ridge man was arrested for possession of marijuana. drug paraphernalia and prescription painkillers at state Route 46 and Interstate 80.

Criminal damaging: Four tires were slashed on a 2004 Dodge truck and a 2005 Chevrolet van at a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Drive.

Drug offense: An Austintown man was placed in county jail on a warrant after being arrested in the 4000 block of New Road. He was charged with possession of dangerous drugs after police found three Flexeril.

Criminal damaging: Eight tires were slashed on a 1992 Sonoma and a Pontiac G6 at a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Drive.

Criminal damaging: Headlights and vehicle windows were broken out on a vehicle at Bill’s Place.

Breaking and entering: A deadbolt and doorknob were damaged and access was gained inside at a home in the 90 block of Maple Ave.
