SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Terrell Holloway made 10 free throws without a miss and finished with 13 points to help Xavier in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off championship game. B.J. Raymond and Jamel McLean added 11 points each for the Musketeers (5-0), and C.J. Anderson finished with 10. Tyreke Evans led Memphis (4-1) with 12 points, but was 4-for-16 from the field. Robert Dozier and Antonio Anderson each scored 10 points.

No. 2 Connecticut 76, No. 17 Miami 63

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands — Hasheem Thabeet had 19 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks, and A.J. Price added 13 points and 11 rebounds for Connecticut in the Paradise Jam semifinals. The Huskies (4-0) will face Wisconsin tonight in the final of the of the eight-team tournament. Jack McClinton had 27 points for the Hurricanes.

No. 3 Louisville 81, South Alabama 54

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Freshman Samardo Samuels was dominant for the second straight night, scoring 24 points for Louisville in the Billy Minardi Classic final. Terrence Williams had 12 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, and Earl Clark added 12 points and five boards for the Cardinals. Brandon Davis led South Alabama with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

No. 10 Duke 78, Montana 58

DURHAM, N.C. — Nolan Smith scored 12 of his 14 points during the decisive first-half run that propelled led Duke to its third win in four days. Gerald Henderson also had 14 points, Kyle Singler finished with 13 and Jon Scheyer scored 12 for the short-handed Blue Devils (6-0). Jordan Hasquet scored 15 points for the Grizzlies (2-2).

TEMPE, Ariz. — James Harden scored a career-high 33 points and had 12 rebounds to lead Arizona State to the victory. It was the fourth career double-double for Harden, a sophomore who has led the Sun Devils (3-0) in scoring or shared the lead in 28 of his 37 games.

Missouri 83, No. 19 Southern California 72

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — DeMarre Carroll had 29 points and 11 rebounds to help Missouri in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip Off. J.T. Tiller added 14 points and Leo Lyons finished with 13 for the Tigers (4-1).

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands — Trevon Hughes had 22 points to help Wisconsin in the Paradise Jam. Brandon Johnson led San Diego (2-2) with 19 points on 5-for-8 shooting from 3-point range.
